Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Lidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Lidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harry Callahan!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Callahan shoots in looking for a takedown but Lidd manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Callahan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That's time! Lidd's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Callahan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Harry Callahan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Callahan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Callahan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
