The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stevens swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Stevens pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stevens keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Block counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stevens's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Block has gone for a leg lock! Stevens slips out almost immediately though and dives into Block's guard.

Block has his foot on Stevens's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stevens works his way back into a safe position though.

Block looking for a guillotine here but Stevens defends easily.
Stevens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
