Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colin Millen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Busy Signal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Millen comes to the cage accompanied by Da Strike!. Signal has chosen Busy Signal - Smoke Some High Grade as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Millen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Busy Signal!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millen cracks the inside of Signal's front leg.
Signal bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Millen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Signal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Signal fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Millen sprawls well initially but Signal persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Millen looking for submissions off his back.
Signal wants to free his trapped foot but Millen is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Signal is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Millen trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Millen is trying is best to control the position here.
Signal is keen to just control but Millen is a slippery customer.
Signal wants to pass the guard but Millen is defending well.
Signal thows a huge punch but Millen dodges it nicely.

Signal is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Millen has managed to free his arm - good work.
Millen is refusing to be controlled, as Signal sits in half guard.

Millen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Signal seems to be working for a kimura but Millen defends the submission attempt.
Signal thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Millen's head.

Signal looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Millen tries to roll over but Signal keeps him under control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Signal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Millen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Millen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Signal pulls his head out easily.

Signal is looking for a kimura here.

Signal is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Millen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Signal.
Signal looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Signal is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Millen is in trouble now - Signal has advanced to mount!
Millen tries to control the position but Signal now has his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Millen defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Signal's arms.
Signal has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Millen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Busy Signal dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Good standup being displayed there by Millen as he connects with a hook.
Millen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Millen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Signal's head.

Signal drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Busy Signal has got the better of the ground game so far.

Signal is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Millen is trying to escape and Signal transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Millen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Signal! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Busy Signal!
An out of breath Busy Signal thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
