The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikkola throws a series of punches but Bison avoids them all with ease.
Bison tries to close the distance and clinch but Nikkola swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nikkola fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Nikkola with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bison connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Bison wants to clinch.
Bison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nikkola swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nikkola is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bison defends it well.

Nikkola is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bison doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nikkola.

Bison wants to improve his position but Nikkola is controlling well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bison throws a hook but Nikkola avoids it easily.
Bison tries to land a leg kick but Nikkola saw it coming and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nikkola shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bison is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nikkola has control of Bison's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bison regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Bison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nikkola on the ground.
