The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doghoon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doghoon looks to land a combination but Freyr avoids it well.

Doghoon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Freyr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Doghoon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Freyr.
That kick from Freyr tenderised Doghoon's leg. Doghoon is trying to keep his angry face on.

Good leg kick by Freyr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Doghoon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Freyr lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Doghoon backs up against the cage.
It looks like Carlos Doghoon has been cut.

Freyr connects with a body shot that sends Doghoon's belly button to the back.
Freyr thumps Doghoon with a low kick.
Freyr throws a quick inside leg kick.
Freyr scores with a kick to the body.
Freyr has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doghoon drops his hands momentarily and Freyr takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Freyr is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Freyr lands with a shot to the body.
Doghoon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Freyr to score with a decent uppercut.
Doghoon is rocked!
Freyr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Freyr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oh Doghoon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freyr scoring well with a low kick there.
Doghoon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Freyr fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Doghoon to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Doghoon looks to clinch but Freyr throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Doghoon taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Njord Freyr!
Njord Freyr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
