Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is F.A.M.E. Gray has chosen make love not war baby as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Holmes blocks a head kick by Gray.
Holmes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gray in his tracks.
Holmes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Holmes tries a low kick but Gray avoids it.

Gray throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Holmes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gray momentarily.

Holmes closes the distance and clinches.
Gray lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Holmes can't find room to land a body shot as Gray controls the action.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Holmes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gray.
Gray has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Holmes blocks an uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Gray escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holmes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holmes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holmes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Holmes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Holmes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gray.

Holmes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gray loads up on a big right hand but Holmes slips the punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Holmes throws the left hand but Gray avoids the punch easily.

Holmes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gray finds it's way round the side to connect with Holmes's head.
Holmes connects with a leg kick. Gray looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Holmes is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Gray. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Whack! Holmes lands a heavy head kick that drops Gray. The ref tackles Holmes to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Gray was done.
