And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Cournoyer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Collins tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cournoyer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Collins thinking.
Cournoyer throws a nice looking combination but Collins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cournoyer.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Collins.
Collins shoots in but no luck this time.
Collins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Collins looks gassed!
Collins blocks a head kick by Cournoyer.
Cournoyer thows a body kick. Collins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Cournoyer throws a head kick that misses.
Cournoyer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cournoyer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Kane Collins has been cut.

Cournoyer lands a big head kick that sends Collins tumbling to the mat! Cournoyer takes a step backwards and waves Collins back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Collins is rocked!
Cournoyer tries a head kick but it misses.
Collins is still on wobbly legs! Can Cournoyer finish him?

Cournoyer drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cournoyer forces his way into half guard.
Nice strikes from Cournoyer there.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cournoyer in particular looking to stall.
Collins seems to have recovered his senses.
Cournoyer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cournoyer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cournoyer connects with a nice short shot to Collins's temple.

Cournoyer wants to work for an arm triangle but Collins is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Collins has hold of Cournoyer's hands but Cournoyer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Cournoyer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cournoyer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Collins looks a forlorn figure.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cournoyer controlling the position easily from mount.
Cournoyer fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Cournoyer is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Collins is forced to tap! Great finish!
