Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harley Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darren Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bailey dives in and scores a takedown into Hunter's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hunter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bailey controls the pace.
Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bailey on the ground.
Bailey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Bailey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hunter wants to improve his position but instead Bailey has moved into half guard.
Bailey is thwarting Hunter's attempts to control the position.
Bailey trying to control the action but Hunter is working from the bottom.
Hunter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hunter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bailey is working away from the top position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bailey decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bailey walks into a left hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hunter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bailey tries for a takedown but Hunter manages to get underhooks.
Hunter working hard to break the clinch.
Bailey content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Bailey breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bailey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hunter circles away.
Bailey ducks right into an uppercut from Hunter.

Bailey moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bailey has Hunter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bailey pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hunter tumbling to the mat - Bailey dives into Hunter's guard.
Hunter is trying to control the position but Bailey postures up.

Bailey stands and steps away. Hunter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bailey shoots for a takedown but Hunter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Harley Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Bailey.
Hunter lands a glancing blow to the side of Bailey's head.
Hunter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hunter scores with a jab.
Hunter drops Bailey with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bailey! Hunter dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harley Hunter!
Harley Hunter decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
