Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zak Houk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Houk moves away.

and Wall counters with a straight right hand.

Houk takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Houk shoots for a double leg takedown but Wall sprawls well. He's pushed Houk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No joy there for Houk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Houk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Houk somewhat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Wall in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Houk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wall.

Houk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wall circles away quickly and effectively.
Wall slaps away a takedown attempt from Houk, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wall throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Houk on the side of the head.
A combination from Wall does no damage.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Houk. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Oh Houk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wall steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Houk is out on his feet! Wall sets himself and nearly takes Houk's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
