Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tore throws a right and a left that Soares avoids nicely.
Tore punishes Soares's body with a nice straight punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tore working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Tore comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Rafael Soares has been cut.
Tore lands a left hand that snaps the head of Soares backwards.
Tore lands an elbow inside.
Tore lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Soares jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tore walks away with a smile on his face. Soares gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tore swings for the body but Soares moves out of range.
A cross from Tore lands.
Soares uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tore.

Soares gets a double leg takedown into Tore's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tore can't keep his opponent in guard - Soares advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Soares is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tore defends it well.
Tore is not content to let Soares control the position.
Tore wants to get back to full guard.
Soares frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Soares lands a nice shot to the head.
Soares tries to control but Tore wriggling away.
Tore is trying desperately to improve position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Soares working for a submission but Tore is keeping him at bay.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Soares has control of Tore's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tore regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Soares pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Tore is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Soares locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tore is forced to tap!
