Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Before I Forget by Slipknot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Roy Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Jones!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones digs a good body shot into Brown's ribs.
Roy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brown counters with a nice uppercut.
Brown misses with an uppercut.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brown's hands.
It looks like Roy Brown has been cut.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it.
Brown on the wrong end of a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones avoids the body shot from Brown.
Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Brown misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones lands an uppercut, right on the button! Brown tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Jones!
