Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Pato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Daisoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daisoo has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rob Pato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kim Daisoo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Daisoo misses.
Pato looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pato doesn't manage to clinch there - Daisoo circles away.
Daisoo tries to clinch but Pato moves away
and Pato counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pato thows a huge punch but Daisoo dodges it nicely.
Pato wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daisoo keeps working.
Pato prevents Daisoo from standing back up.
Pato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Daisoo is just riding it out for now. Pato eventually gives up the hold.

Daisoo tries to get to full guard but Pato has control of the leg.
Daisoo is trying to maintain the position but Pato is very close to passing his half guard.

Daisoo is trying to stand up here but Pato is controlling him well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Good leg kick by Daisoo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kim Daisoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daisoo throws a leg kick which misses Pato's front leg but catches the back leg as Pato tries to avoid it.
Daisoo tries a head kick but it misses.
Daisoo scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Daisoo.
Daisoo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Daisoo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pato!
Pato gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daisoo is keen to just control but Pato is a slippery customer.
Daisoo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Pato actively working from the bottom here.
Daisoo tries to stand and escape but Pato is controlling the position.
Daisoo blocks the strikes from Pato.
Pato is trying to get back to full guard.
Pato is not content to let Daisoo control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pato moves out of range of the strikes.
A bone on bone clash there as Pato blocks the leg kick.
Pato on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Daisoo. Daisoo obviously looking to wear him down.
Pato uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Daisoo.
Daisoo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pato moves away.
Daisoo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Daisoo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pato!
Pato is trying to escape the mount.

Daisoo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pato is in all sorts of trouble here.
Daisoo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pato is looking to escape.
Pato manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Pato moves into full guard.
Pato trying to keep a closed guard but Daisoo is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kim Daisoo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Daisoo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Daisoo.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daisoo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pato pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Daisoo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rob Pato is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Daisoo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pato counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Pato in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Daisoo tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Pato!
