Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Green's choice of entrance music: Hall of Fame. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Martinez looks to land a right hand but Green moved out of range.
Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martinez.

Martinez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Martinez looking for a submission but Green manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Martinez parries the strikes from Green easily there. Green is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Martinez to escape.

Green wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Martinez, who protects the arm well.
Martinez manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Martinez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Martinez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Green stacks Martinez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Green!

Green is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Martinez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Green tries to bum rush Martinez with a series of wild strikes but Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Martinez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Martinez is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Green is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Green flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Martinez anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Green and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Martinez slips an arm under Green chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Martinez has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Martinez is squeezing on Green like an anaconda would it's prey. Green fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
