Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budo Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barron comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Satani. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rei's choice of entrance music: Alice in Chains - No Excuses. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Rei catches Barron right on the button with a cross.
Colin Barron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barron attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Barron.
Barron lands a really nice looking cross but Rei seems unphased.
It looks like Budo Rei has been cut.
Rei swats away the attempt to clinch by Barron.

Rei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barron stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rei feints a jab promting Barron to slip. Rei then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Barron slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A head kick lands from Barron that sends Rei to the canvas. Rei tries to scramble back to his feet but Barron brings him back down into side control.
Rei is rocked!
That has opened up Budo Rei's cut even more.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
