Ramirez comes into the arena with War is my destiny blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez swings for the body but Swan moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Swan. Those never looked like landing.
Swan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A head kick misses from Swan.
Ramirez misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Swan does no damage.
Ramirez jabs Swan right on the nose. Swan blinks but takes it well.
Ramirez slips a jab and a cross from Swan.
Swan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ramirez dodges the punch combination from Swan.
Swan tries to land a leg kick but Ramirez saw it coming and moves away.

It looks like Ajax Swan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swan avoids the body shot from Ramirez .
Swan misses with a double jab.
Swan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ramirez lands a glancing blow to the side of Swan's head.

and Ramirez counters with a leg kick.
Ramirez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ramirez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A solid leg kick lands there for Ramirez .
Ajax Swan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swan looks gassed!
Swan drops his hands momentarily and Ramirez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ramirez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Swan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ramirez .
Ramirez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Swan if he has to take too many more of those.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ramirez , right into the meat.
Swan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Ramirez lands a big right hand that sends Swan crashing to the mat! Ramirez stays standing though and waves Swan back to his feet!
