Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoly Bogdanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santa Clause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clause shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bogdanov as he jumps to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Clause wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Clause goes for a takedown attempt but Bogdanov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Clause checks a low kick from Bogdanov.

Clause gets a takedown into half guard.
Bogdanov is not content to let Clause control the position.
Clause looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Clause throwing shots but Bogdanov is blocking nicely.

Bogdanov is trying to control but can't.
Clause trying to control from half guard but Bogdanov is working away.
Clause content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bogdanov is trying to maintain the position but Clause is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Clause trying to control the action but Bogdanov is working from the bottom.

Clause is working for a submission of some sort.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Clause gets the takedown into side control.
Clause tries to advance to mount but Bogdanov denies him.

Clause has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bogdanov tries to clinch but Clause is having none of it.
A combination from Bogdanov does no damage.

Bogdanov clinches with his opponent.

Bogdanov manages to break the clinch.

Clause shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Clause showed some decent athleticism there.
Clause passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bogdanov!
Bogdanov tries to buck Clause off but he can't manage it.

Bogdanov is squirming around, avoiding Clause's attempts to control the action.
Bogdanov is working to get back to half guard.
Clause can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bogdanov is looking to escape.

Clause goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bogdanov turns into him and now he's in Clause's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santa Clause dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bogdanov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Clause throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown by Clause or perhaps it was just good defense by Bogdanov which made him look bad.
Anatoly Bogdanov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Clause gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bogdanov stopping the sweep attempt from Clause.
Clause not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Clause is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Clause wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Clause is breathing heavily.

Bogdanov stands up from Clause's guard - Bogdanov perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bogdanov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clause swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Clause shoots in and drives through. Bogdanov sprawls well.
Clause throws a sloppy head kick and Bogdanov moves out of range easily.
Clause moves in looking to clinch but Bogdanov pushes him off.

Clause closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bogdanov to the mat! Bogdanov manages to get full guard.
Clause slips nicely into half guard.
Bogdanov wants to get back to his feet.
Clause scoring with strikes to the body and head.
It looks like Clause is going to stand back up.

Bogdanov tries to roll over but Clause keeps him under control.

Clause decides to stand and escape the position.
Clause closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bogdanov counters with a three punch combo that has Clause backing up. Clause nods at Bogdanov to acknowledge the strikes.

Clause wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bogdanov has him pressed against the cage.
Bogdanov keeps control of Clause as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Anatoly Bogdanov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santa Clause.
A short body shot lands from Clause as the two fighters clinch.
Clause avoiding damage as Bogdanov throws knees to the body.
Clause jumps guard but Bogdanov stands there with Clause around his waist. Clause gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clause is looking to control Bogdanov's arms but Bogdanov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Clause has his back to the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Clause.

Bogdanov cracks Clause with a nice body shot.

Bogdanov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bogdanov seems to be working for a kimura but Clause defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anatoly Bogdanov dominated that second round.
That's time! Bogdanov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

No luck for Bogdanov with that takedown attempt.

Bogdanov moves into the clinch.
Clause jumps guard but Bogdanov stands there with Clause around his waist. Clause gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bogdanov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Clause clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Bogdanov connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Clause to escape the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clause just trying to survive but Bogdanov is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Clause decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bogdanov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clause misses with a takedown attempt

and Bogdanov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bogdanov cracks Clause with a solid left hand.
Bogdanov wants to control from the top but Clause keeps moving.
Clause is trying to control the position but Bogdanov postures up.
Bogdanov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Clause is looking for a triangle but Bogdanov pushes his legs off easily.

Clause uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Clause blocks a low kick nicely.

Clause fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bogdanov sprawls well initially but Clause persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
