Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Bobby Lashley has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Li!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li tries to keep at a distance but Lashley has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lashley breaks from the clinch.
Lashley slips a jab and a cross from Li.
Lashley tries to clinch there but Li circles away.
Some bone on bone action there as Li checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Li throws a big shot that misses.
Lashley fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lashley feints and as Li raises his hands in defense, Lashley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lashley stops Li from standing up.
Li looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lashley throws an elbow that misses. Li uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lashley's guard. Nice move by Li!
Li looking to sit in guard and control but Lashley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lashley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lashley throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Li escapes and throws Lashley's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Li is looking to take a break and control but Lashley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Li wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lashley keeps working.

Lashley is wriggling around trying to escape.
Li can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lashley is looking to escape.

Lashley wants to hold on but Li pushes him away.
Li lands a big shot there that rocks Lashley but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Li connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.
Lashley has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Li's lack of action.
Lashley tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lashley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Li shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lashley throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Li throws a lazy right hand but Lashley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lashley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Li.

Oooooh!!! Lashley has knocked Li down with a huge combo! Lashley steps away and waves a wobbly Li back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Freddy Li has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lashley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Li is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bobby Lashley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Li.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Li takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Li has hold of Lashley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lashley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Li goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lashley is on top in guard.

Lashley is taking a breather. Li says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lashley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Li swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lashley is now in Li's guard. A big mistake from Li there, giving up the dominant position!

A relieved looking Freddy Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
