Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arturo Rey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Munoz as he jumps to the side.
Rey throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rey shoots in and drives through. Munoz sprawls well.
A swing and a miss from Rey.
Sloppy strikes from Rey. Those never looked like landing.
Munoz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Munoz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Munoz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rey fails to land with a series of punches.

Munoz gets caught flat footed, as Rey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Rey wants to get up but he can't break Munoz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Munoz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rey is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Munoz.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
