Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Puh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Weeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puh comes into the arena with Nalle Puhin uudet seikkailut blaring out of the sound system. Weeks has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nalle Puh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Weeks!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Weeks.
Weeks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Puh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Puh swinging wildly here.
Puh pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Puh swats away the attempt to clinch by Weeks.
Puh avoids the body shot from Weeks.
Weeks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Weeks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Puh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Weeks moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right from Weeks on the inside.
Weeks lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Weeks lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Puh is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Weeks is keeping busy.
Puh tries to work over Weeks's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Puh is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Weeks is defending well for now.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Weeks.

Puh gets underhooks to prevent Weeks's takedown attempt.
Puh lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Weeks backwards.

Puh lands a leg kick that knocks Weeks off balance momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Weeks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Puh misses with a body shot.

Weeks pushes Puh up against the cage in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Weeks.

Weeks has picked Puh up - he's going for a ride! Weeks dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Weeks is looking to take a break and control but Puh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Puh is looking to improve his position.
Weeks is trying to control. Puh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Weeks trying to pass the guard but Puh defending well.

Weeks decides to stand and escape the position.
Weeks shoots in looking for a takedown but Puh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weeks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Weeks moves out of range as Puh strikes.
Weeks shoots in but Puh avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nalle Puh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Weeks.
Weeks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


It looks like Billy Weeks has been cut.
Weeks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Puh.
Weeks misses with a two punch combination.
Some bone on bone action there as Puh checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Weeks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Billy Weeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Weeks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Puh was well out of range. Poor timing from Weeks.
Weeks throws a head kick that misses.
An inside leg kick from Puh misses.
Weeks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Puh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Puh works over Weeks's head and body with a nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Weeks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Weeks is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Puh rather than just go for the knockout.
No joy there for Weeks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puh takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Weeks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Puh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Weeks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Weeks misses with a body shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Weeks finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Puh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Weeks.
Weeks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puh manages to avoid it.
Puh throws a head kick that Weeks semi-blocks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A head kick by Weeks misses
and Puh counters with a right hand to the body.
Puh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A left lands for Puh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nalle Puh will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Billy Weeks's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A nice leg kick lands there from Puh.
Weeks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Puh moves away.
Puh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weeks swings for the body but Puh moves out of range.
Weeks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Puh as he avoids it easily.
Weeks with a nice cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Weeks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nalle Puh is winning the standup battle so far.
Puh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Weeks takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Puh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weeks was well out of range. Poor timing from Puh.
Weeks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Puh defends it nicely.

Weeks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Weeks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Puh's head.
Puh wants to get back to full guard.
Weeks wants to take a breather but Puh is having none of it.
Weeks looks to land a strike but Puh avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Weeks stopping the sweep attempt from Puh.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Weeks scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Weeks is pushing down on Puh's leg trying to pass to half guard. Puh is fighting to maintain full guard but Weeks has managed to sneak the leg through.
Puh is trying to get back to full guard.
Weeks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Weeks slips a nice elbow through Puh's hands, connecting with Puh's forehead.
Weeks is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Weeks scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Puh wants to get back to his feet.
Weeks missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Weeks is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Puh is trying to control but can't.
Weeks lands strikes from half guard.
Puh regains full guard. Nicely done.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weeks's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Weeks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Weeks trying to control the position from guard on top but Puh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puh is trying to keep Weeks in close.
Puh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Weeks is one step ahead there.
Weeks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Puh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Puh controls Weeks momentarily but Weeks frees himself.

Puh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Weeks lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Weeks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Weeks throws an elbow that misses. Puh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Weeks's guard. Nice move by Puh!
Puh throwing strikes but missing.
Weeks looking to hit a scissor sweep but Puh is one step ahead there.
Weeks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Puh manages to get himself to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weeks's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Billy Weeks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Puh throws a sloppy head kick and Weeks moves out of range easily.
Weeks connects with a right hand. Puh shakes it off.

Weeks throws a shot from downtown. Puh moves away and avoids it.
Puh misses with a wild body shot.
Puh on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Puh ducks under a wild hook from Weeks.
Weeks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Weeks slips under a jab.
Puh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Weeks throws a hook but Puh blocks it.

Puh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Weeks's guard.
Puh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Weeks is keeping the position for now.

Weeks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Puh forces his way into half guard.
Weeks tries to get to full guard but Puh has control of the leg.
Puh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Puh wants to free his trapped foot but Weeks is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Weeks avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Puh.
Weeks keeping hold of Puh's head, controlling as best he can.
Puh prevents Weeks from improving his position.
Puh is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Puh throwing shots but Weeks is blocking nicely.

Weeks is refusing to be controlled, as Puh sits in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Nalle Puh has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Weeks tries to clinch there but Puh circles away.
Puh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Puh stuffs the takedown.
Weeks tried to score with a low kick but Puh checks it.
Puh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Puh scores with a jab to the jaw.
Weeks fails in his attempt to clinch.
Puh looks to score with a jab to the body but Weeks is just out of range.
Weeks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Puh's waist but Puh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weeks off to one side.

Puh lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


That has opened up Billy Weeks's cut even more.
Weeks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Puh moves away.

Weeks fails with a takedown attempt.
Nalle Puh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Weeks.
Weeks throws out a loose jab but Puh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Weeks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Puh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weeks somewhat.
Puh lands a nice looking body kick.
Weeks takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Weeks misses with a two punch combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Puh scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Weeks doesn't seem bothered though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Puh lands a right hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nalle Puh showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Puh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
