The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koc gets caught flat footed, as Silva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva wants to stand but Koc has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Koc looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Silva controls from within his opponent's guard.
Koc is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silva is controlling him.
Koc manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Silva wants to control but Koc is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Koc winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva is not content to let Koc control the position.

Koc stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Silva seems to be looking for submissions.
Koc is holding on to half guard well.
Koc wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but Koc is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Koc is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Koc is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
