The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barclay scores with a crisp jab that stopped Venturia in his tracks.
Barclay keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Barclay misses the target.
Venturia throws a sloppy head kick and Barclay moves out of range easily.
Venturia misses with an uppercut. Barclay saw that one coming.
Barclay throws a jab when Venturia was well out of range.
Venturia lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Venturia counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barclay throws a half hearted mid kick.
Barclay swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Barclay tries to land a front kick but Venturia steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Barclay scores with a jab.
Barclay is pawing at Venturia, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Venturia's nose. Venturia is badly hurt! Barclay pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Venturia tries desperately to hold on but Barclay is relentless in his assault! As Venturia receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Barclay away and this one is in the books!
