Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between EJ Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tap comes to the cage accompanied by Pop Lock and Drop It. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, EJ Tap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tap drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie keeping full guard, as Tap tries to pass.
Tap landing some decent shots from guard.
Tap stands and throws Gracie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tap could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Tap looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Tap has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gracie gets back to full guard.
Tap wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tap won't allow Gracie to get back to his feet.
Gracie pulls Tap in to control the position.

Tap drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Tap off! Tap jumps back into Gracie's guard.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Tap trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tap gets the takedown into side control.

Tap looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie tries to bench press Tap off him but Tap keeps the position.

Tap tries for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.
Tap is breathing heavily.
Gracie is trying to buck Tap off.
Gracie wants to control but Tap postures up.
Tap postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tap passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gracie!
Tap prevents Gracie from getting the reversal.
The referee warns Gracie that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tap working for a submission but Gracie is keeping him at bay.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Tap is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gracie has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gracie!
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gracie stands up from Tap's guard - Gracie perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tap shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.
No luck for Tap with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gracie gets caught flat footed, as Tap shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tap drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tap as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Gracie screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tap! Nice submission victory there!
