Strudel has chosen I'm too Sexy - Right said Fred as his entrance music. Rudolf Strudel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kris Jakua's chin.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakua throws a left and a right that both miss
and Strudel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Kris Jakua has been cut.
Strudel shoots in but no luck this time.
Strudel dives in and grabs Jakua's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jakua pushes down on Strudel's head and hops out.
Jakua swats away the attempt to clinch by Strudel.
Strudel shoots in and drives through. Jakua sprawls well.
Kris Jakua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudolf Strudel.

Strudel has closed the distance and engaged Jakua in a clinch.
Jakua is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Strudel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kris Jakua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strudel closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jakua makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jakua missing with a left hand there. Strudel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Jakua gets tackled into the cage by Strudel. Strudel maintains the clinch.
Jakua tries to circle away but Strudel has him pinned against the cage.
Jakua avoids the elbow strike from Strudel, against the cage.
Jakua dodges an elbow strike from Strudel.
Strudel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jakua is defending well for now.

Strudel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Strudel takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jakua throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jakua displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Jakua defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Strudel.
Jakua lands a jab to the nose.
That kick from Jakua tenderised Strudel's leg. Strudel is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jakua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strudel moves away.
Jakua closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Rudolf Strudel has been cut.
Strudel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jakua throws a lazy right hand but Strudel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Strudel takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jakua scores with a hook to the body. Strudel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Strudel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jakua dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Strudel. That did some damage!
Strudel looks gassed!

Oooooh!!! Jakua has knocked Strudel down with a huge combo! Jakua steps away and waves a wobbly Strudel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jakua scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Strudel doesn't seem bothered though.
Jakua connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Strudel! He's out on his feet! Jakua rushes in and drops Strudel with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kris Jakua!
