Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexan Donk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerry King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donk tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Donk swats him away and circles back towards the center.

King throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Donk is countered with a crisp right hand from King that sends him to the canvas! King follows him to the mat into side control.

King wants to stand but Donk has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Donk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Donk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donk takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King closes the distance but Donk moves to the side
and Donk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
