The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Along Recto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Recto's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Redhair connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Recto scrambles back to his feet.

Recto shoots in looking for a takedown. Redhair tries to sprawl out of it but Recto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Redhair manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Recto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Redhair's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Recto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Recto wants to control from the top but Redhair keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Redhair can do anything to dispel that myth.

Recto drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Recto as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Redhair screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Recto! Nice submission victory there!
