Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominguez comes to the cage accompanied by The Unforgiven by MetallicA. Soares has chosen Vida Loka Parte 1 as his entrance music. Ricardo Soares told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez shoots in looking for a takedown. Soares tries to sprawl out of it but Dominguez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Soares manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dominguez takes one to the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Soares. No joy for Dominguez on that attempt.
Dominguez shoots for a takedown but Soares saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cesar Dominguez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for Soares.
Dominguez shoots in but Soares avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Soares jabs Dominguez right on the nose. Dominguez blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soares takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Soares lands a nice hook to Dominguez's body. Dominguez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dominguez misses with a takedown attempt - Soares sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dominguez tries to score with a low kick but Soares moves his leg out of the way.
Dominguez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dominguez shoots in for a takedown but Soares shows good takedown defense.

Dominguez gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Soares gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
