Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Jean Baptiste Lully - Marche Royale. Abaddon has chosen Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Abaddon!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abaddon misses with a straight left.
Abaddon throws a series of punches but Reed moves out of range.
Reed lands a head kick!
Oliver Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abaddon throws the kick towards the body but Reed avoids it.
Reed paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Both fighters circling a little - Reed finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Reed thuds his shin into the meat of Abaddon's side.
Reed throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Abaddon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reed.
Abaddon tries to clinch but Reed is having none of it.
Reed throws a looping overhand right but Abaddon ducks down to avoid it.
Reed lands with a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reed misses with a jab to the body
and Abaddon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reed is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Reed lands a nice shot that snaps Abaddon's head back.

It looks like Oliver Reed has been cut.
Reed walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Reed throws a looping overhand right but Abaddon ducks down to avoid it.
Abaddon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reed.

Abaddon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Abaddon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Reed tries to land a front kick but Abaddon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Abaddon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Reed paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reed. Abaddon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reed lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Reed avoids the head kick by Abaddon.
Reed throws a wild body kick that Abaddon sees coming a mile off.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Abaddon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reed.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Abaddon.
Reed takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reed throws a right hand that Abaddon ducks under and follows up with a left that Abaddon also avoids with ease.
Abaddon throws a front kick aimed at Reed's knee but Reed avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reed. Abaddon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reed throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A lazy left from Abaddon finds it's target.
Abaddon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reed chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Abaddon can pounce on him.
Reed lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Reed looks to land a body kick but Abaddon moved away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abaddon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Reed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Abaddon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Reed - the referee stops the clock and Abaddon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Reed. Abaddon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Abaddon has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Reed.

Abaddon just misses with a punch to the body.

Reed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reed throws a hook but Abaddon avoids it easily.
Abaddon lands a nice looking body kick.
Oliver Reed is winning the standup battle so far.

Reed lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Abaddon misses the jab.
Abaddon throws a leg kick but Reed moved away.
Reed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Abaddon throws a head kick that misses.
A shot to the body from Abaddon misses
and Reed counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abaddon takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Reed counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Abaddon is still on wobbly legs! Can Reed finish him?
A kick lands to the mid section there for Reed.
Abaddon is breathing heavily.
Reed drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Abaddon right on the button. Abaddon goes down! Reed follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Reed gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Reed!
