Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galard misses with a takedown attempt - Lopez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Galard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lopez sprawls well. Lopez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Galard gets slowly back to his feet.

Lopez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Galard checks it well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Galard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Galard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Galard gets to his feet - Lopez follows without any prompting.

Galard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lopez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Galard drops back looking for a leg! Lopez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lopez manages to kick Galard off! Galard jumps back into Lopez's guard.

Galard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopez pinned against the cage. Lopez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Galard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Galard takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
