Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoko Gushiken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoko Gushiken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate fails with the takedown.
Tate fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gushiken manages to avoid it.
Tate bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gushiken is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tate is controlling him well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tate thows a huge punch but Gushiken dodges it nicely.

Tate changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gushiken looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tate is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gushiken will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tate lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gushiken circles away quickly and effectively.

Terry Tate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tate fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gushiken, pushing him back against the cage.
Tate keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gushiken's efforts to push away.

Tate digs a right hand into Gushiken's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gushiken's gas tank.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gushiken lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tate has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tate and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yoko Gushiken will probably get the nod.

Tate throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
