The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry misses with a straight left.

Child throws the left hand but Henry avoids the punch easily.

Henry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Child sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henry somewhat.

That was a close round but I would say that Fair Child will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Henry moves out of range of the strikes.

Child clinches with his opponent.
Henry dodges an elbow strike from Child.
Child pushes off an throws an elbow but Henry leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Henry is trying to break the clinch but Child has him pressed against the cage.

Child drops back, looking for a kneebar! Henry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Henry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Henry!
Child is looking to regain half guard here but Henry keeps moving and retains side control.
Henry misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Henry wants to work for an arm triangle but Child is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

I would just about give that final round to Leon Henry.
Well Child has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
