Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canthropus comes into the arena with Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Bunga has chosen Nova as his entrance music. Pithe Canthropus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Canthropus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Canthropus lands a leg kick that knocks Bunga off balance momentarily.
Some bone on bone action there as Bunga checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bunga thuds a left hand into Canthropus's body.
Canthropus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Canthropus scores with a hook to the body. Bunga takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Canthropus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Canthropus cracks Bunga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Bunga on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Canthropus throws a front kick aimed at Bunga's knee but Bunga avoids it well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bunga doesn't manage to clinch there - Canthropus circles away.
Bunga takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Gonzo Bunga has been cut.
