Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Baller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baller comes to the cage accompanied by Helicopter, made of meat!. Gomes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: NJJD. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baller throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gomes on the side of the head.
Baller tries to land a front kick but Gomes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Baller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gomes slips a straight right by Baller.
Baller throws a push kick but Gomes slaps the foot to one side.
Gomes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baller, pushing him back against the cage.
Gomes breaks the clinch.
Baller jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gomes ducks under a wild hook from Baller.
Gomes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Gomes is thwarting Baller's attempts to control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gomes connects with a nice short shot to Baller's temple.
Baller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Baller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gomes scores with a couple of nice shots.
Baller tries to roll over but Gomes keeps him under control.

Gomes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baller to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baller shrugs it off.
