Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Omega Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head keeps the fight on the outside.
Good shot there by Head.

It looks like Omega Red has been cut.
Head fails in his attempt to clinch.
Red tries to clinch but Head is having none of it.
Red avoids a punch combination nicely.
Head throws a series of punches but Red moves out of range.
Head misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A slapping leg kick lands for Red.
Head pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dick Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Red shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Head's guard.

Head is working an open guard so Red takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Head rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Red moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Head shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Red but Red pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Head looks gassed!

Red feints and as Head raises his hands in defense, Red changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Red postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Red sitting in guard here, content to control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Red won't allow Head to get back to his feet.
Red pushing down on Head's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Red decides to stand up.
Red throws the kick towards the body but Head avoids it.
Head moves in looking to clinch but Red pushes him off.
Red takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Red is rocked!
Red shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oh Red is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Head, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Red seems to have got his legs back now.
Head misses with a double jab.
Head shoots and misses

and Red decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Head's guard.
Omega Red has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Head.
Head throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Head looking to hit a scissor sweep but Red is one step ahead there.
Head is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Head is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Red trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Red with a nice head shot there.
Red is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Head really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Red. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Head looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Red misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No joy there for Head, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Red misses with a leg kick.

Red drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Red is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Red stands up from Head's guard - Red perhaps looking for a knockout.

Red rushes Head and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Head escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Head scores with a shot to the body.
Oooh a lovely combination from Head sends Red down but not out. Head dives into side control looking to finish.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Head tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Head decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Red slips a jab and a cross from Head.
Head misses with a series of wild punches.
Head connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Red keeps the fight on the outside.
Red shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Head connects with a stiff jab that staggers Red - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
