The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apacz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Korymotto manages to avoid it.
Korymotto looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Korymotto tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Apacz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Korymotto won't be happy with that.
Apacz laying and praying for a moment but Korymotto takes advantage and regains half guard.

Apacz is looking for a kimura here.

Apacz trying to work for an americana but Korymotto has managed to regain full guard.

Apacz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Apacz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Apacz wants to control from the top but Korymotto keeps moving.
Apacz wants to pass the guard but Korymotto is keeping the position.
Apacz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Apacz postures up in Korymotto's guard and throws a big left but Korymotto blocks it.
Apacz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Korymotto's guard.
Well, if Apacz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
