PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eldoth Kron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kron has chosen Afterworld as his entrance music. Eldoth Kron is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eldoth Kron!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow misses with a takedown attempt

so Kron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kron throws a big elbow that misses.
Kron is looking to stand up but Snow won't let him.
Kron stands and throws Snow's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kron slows the pace down.
Kron sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Snow is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kron wants to stand but Snow is controlling his arm.
Snow on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kron tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snow is trying to control Kron's posture but Kron avoids it.
Kron has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kron creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Snow sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Snow struggling a bit here.
Kron taking a break here but Snow is having none of it and regains half guard.

Kron is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Snow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kron.

Kron is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Snow defends it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kron throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kron wants to control but Snow is keeping him busy.
Kron is nestled in close to Snow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kron seems to be working for a kimura but Snow defends the submission attempt.
Kron keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Snow is holding on to half guard well.
Kron is looking to stall here but Snow recovers full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kron stopping the sweep attempt from Snow.
Kron tries to free his leg and advance position but Snow is retaining full guard.
Kron throws a big elbow that misses.
Kron connects with a couple of short punches.
Kron trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kron wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.
Snow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kron slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kron throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Kron working the head with strikes.

Kron is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snow has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sloppy strikes there by Kron.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kron working the body and head with strikes.
Kron lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Snow down.


Snow is rocked!

Kron tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Oh Snow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kron advances nicely into full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eldoth Kron dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Snow slips a jab and a cross from Kron.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Kron! Snow is backing up but he can't get away as Kron lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Snow and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eldoth Kron!
Eldoth Kron took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'To all my friends and Family, a new beginning for me'.
