Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homer Simpson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Simpson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Simpson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Simpson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Simpson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Simpson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Simpson is squirming around, avoiding Souza's attempts to control the action.
Simpson tries to lock up and control but Souza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Souza is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Simpson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Simpson!

That was a close second round but I would say that Homer Simpson will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
