Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedrinho Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnie Cashh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by Zumbis do Espaço - Mato por prazer. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cashh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rodrigues.
Rodrigues swats away the attempt to clinch by Cashh.
Cashh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rodrigues finds it's way round the side to connect with Cashh's head.

It looks like Johnie Cashh has been cut.
Rodrigues pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rodrigues misses with an uppercut. Cashh saw that one coming.

Rodrigues has managed to clinch.
Cashh wants to get back to striking at distance but Rodrigues won't allow it.

Rodrigues escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rodrigues darts in and clinches Cashh up against the cage.
Rodrigues misses with some punches.
Rodrigues keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cashh's efforts to push away.

Rodrigues breaks from the clinch.

Rodrigues gets a clinch.
Cashh is looking to take this one to the mat.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Cashh takes a shot to the head.
A short uppercut from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues stalling.
Rodrigues lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cashh backwards.

Rodrigues breaks the clinch.
Rodrigues looks to land a combination but Cashh avoids it well.

Rodrigues has closed the distance and engaged Cashh in a clinch.

Rodrigues breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cashh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rodrigues sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cashh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rodrigues sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cashh somewhat.
Pedrinho Rodrigues has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnie Cashh.
Rodrigues lands a jab-cross combination.
Cashh tries to clinch but Rodrigues is having none of it.

Cashh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodrigues misses with a body punch
and Cashh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pedrinho Rodrigues is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cashh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rodrigues as he avoids it easily.
Cashh looks gassed!

Rodrigues rushes Cashh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rodrigues breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cashh has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cashh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cashh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cashh takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

That has opened up Johnie Cashh's cut even more.
Pedrinho Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cashh avoids the body shot from Rodrigues.
Cashh shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl out of it but Cashh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodrigues manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rodrigues closes the distance and clinches.

Rodrigues lands with a short shot to the head.

Rodrigues manages to break the clinch.
Cashh takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The cut above Johnie Cashh's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rodrigues.

Rodrigues rushes Cashh and presses him up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Rodrigues.

Rodrigues breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rodrigues bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cashh's head backwards.

Johnie Cashh's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rodrigues scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodrigues punishes Cashh's body with a nice straight punch.
Cashh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rodrigues counters by clinching up.

Rodrigues breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rodrigues drives through and clinches with Cashh against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rodrigues lands a left hand.

Rodrigues's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rodrigues lands a body shot.
Rodrigues moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Cashh is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnie Cashh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Pedrinho Rodrigues started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
