Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruubens Cartnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob Hick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Billy Bob Hick enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Bob Hick!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hick tries to clinch
and Cartnell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hick throws a leg kick but Cartnell checks it.

Cartnell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hick has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cartnell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cartnell throws an elbow that misses.
Cartnell lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hick backwards.
Hick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cartnell walks away with a smile on his face. Hick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hick shoots in but no luck this time.
Ruubens Cartnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bob Hick.

Cartnell wants to pass the guard but Hick is keeping the position.

Hick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cartnell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cartnell tries to free his leg and advance position but Hick is retaining full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hick is on top in guard.

Cartnell is refusing to be controlled, as Hick sits in half guard.
Cartnell wants to control but Hick is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Hick seems to be looking for submissions.

Hick seems to be working for a kimura but Cartnell defends the submission attempt.

Hick is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cartnell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hick.
Cartnell is trying to get back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hick looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Cartnell wants to control but Hick is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Billy Bob Hick will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cartnell clinches.
Cartnell misses with the head strike.

Cartnell drives through and clinches with Hick against the ropes.

Hick changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cartnell fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cartnell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cartnell lands a body shot.
Hick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cartnell as he jumps to the side.
Ruubens Cartnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bob Hick.
Hick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cartnell tries to avoid it but Hick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cartnell to the ground. Cartnell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cartnell lands a two punch combo.
Hick is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cartnell throws a left that rocks Hick and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cartnell dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Hick regain composure!

Hick is rocked!
Cartnell cracks Hick with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Cartnell immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hick is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Cartnell!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruubens Cartnell!
