The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didion connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Routalempi's hands.
Routalempi lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Zach Didion has been cut.
Didion leaves Routalempi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Routalempi digs a good body shot into Didion's ribs.
Routalempi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Didion moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Didion takes the fight into the clinch.
Routalempi is looking to break free of the clinch but Didion has double underhooks.
Didion misses with an elbow over the top.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Routalempi rushes Didion with punches - Didion moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Didion goes down! Routalempi follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

A less than humble Pekka Routalempi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
