The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasanen misses with a double jab.
A solid body kick from Kato.
Rasanen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Rasanen. Those never looked like landing.
Kato lands with a right hand.
Rasanen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kato. Kato obviously looking to wear him down.
Kato throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rasanen on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rasanen misses with a wild combination.
Rasanen throws a jab but it's blocked by Kato.
Kato lands a nice looking body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kato.
Rasanen is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Rasanen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kato lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kato! Rasanen is out on his feet! Kato rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rasanen is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rasanen is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
