Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, The Hulkster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stef Jalz!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Stef Jalz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Jalz does no damage.
Jalz jabs Hulkster to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jalz scores with a nice head shot.
Hulkster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jalz.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hulkster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hulkster throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jalz catches Hulkster with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A right-left combo lands from Jalz.
Hulkster throws a jab but it's blocked by Jalz.
Jalz misses with a few strikes there.
Jalz throws a series of strikes that have Hulkster backpedaling.
Jalz is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Hulkster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hulkster wants the takedown. Jalz is fighting it off but Hulkster persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jalz's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hulkster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jalz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hulkster is aware though and is defending well.
Hulkster wants to stand but Jalz is controlling his posture from full guard.
