Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Astro Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Moukako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer scores with a leg kick.
Palmer wants to clinch.
Palmer shoots in for a takedown but Moukako shows good takedown defense.

Palmer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Palmer trying to mount his opponent but Moukako defends it.
Palmer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Moukako is looking for a sweep. Palmer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Palmer lands a nice short elbow.
Palmer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Palmer wants to pass the guard but Moukako is keeping the position.

Moukako working for a triangle but Palmer defends it easily.

Moukako has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Palmer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Palmer connects with a nice short shot to Moukako's temple.
Palmer slips a nice elbow through Moukako's hands, connecting with Moukako's forehead.
Palmer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moukako!

Palmer is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Palmer extends the arm and Moukako is forced to tap!
