The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruffa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Potocki finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Potocki lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ruffa looks gassed!
Ruffa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Potocki pinned against the cage. Potocki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bartlomiej Potocki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Ruffa.
Ruffa drops his hands momentarily and Potocki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Rick Ruffa has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potocki thumps Ruffa with a low kick.
Potocki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ruffa.

Potocki lands a big head kick that sends Ruffa tumbling to the mat! Potocki takes a step backwards and waves Ruffa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ruffa is rocked!
Potocki finds Ruffa's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ruffa flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Potocki lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ruffa will be OK.
