The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salgado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brasileiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brasileiro with a lazy takedown attempt
and Salgado counters with a series of strikes. Brasileiro will be more careful next time no doubt.

Brasileiro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salgado as he jumps to the side.

Salgado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salgado wants it to stay on the feet.

Salgado throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Brasileiro stumbling backwards into the cage! Brasileiro bounces back off the cage towards Salgado, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Salgado lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Salgado celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
