Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pwnasaurus Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meldrick Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rex comes to the cage accompanied by The Forest. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Meldrick Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rex.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tyson prevents Rex from improving position.
Tyson is not content to let Rex control the position.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tyson dodges the ground and pound from Rex.

Rex throws a strike aimed at the side of Tyson's head but Tyson avoids it well.
Rex lands some shots froms side control.
Rex throws an elbow but Tyson slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rex has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rex looks up at the clock and then as Tyson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rex smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Tyson is not content to let Rex control the position.

Tyson regains half guard, as Rex was trying to land strikes.
Rex is keen to just control but Tyson is a slippery customer.
Rex thows a huge punch but Tyson dodges it nicely.
Tyson is looking to control Rex's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tyson avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rex lands strikes from half guard.
Tyson tries to get to full guard but Rex has control of the leg.
Rex wants to control but Tyson is keeping him busy.
Rex throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tyson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rex.
Rex performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rex throws a strike but Tyson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rex.
Tyson slips a jab and a cross from Rex.
Rex looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tyson throws a low kick, looking for Rex's leg but Rex calmly moves out of range.
Rex shoots in looking for a takedown. Tyson tries to sprawl out of it but Rex keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tyson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pwnasaurus Rex. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tyson throws a head kick that misses.

Rex shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side.
Tyson slaps away a takedown attempt from Rex, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tyson wants to clinch up but Rex keeps it at a distance.
Meldrick Tyson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rex misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for Rex with that takedown attempt.

Tyson throws a series of punches but Rex moves out of range.
Meldrick Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circling a little - Tyson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Tyson misses with a leg kick
and Rex counters with a slapping leg kick.
Tyson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rex.
Tyson misses with a head kick.
Rex shoots and misses
and Tyson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rex's knee momentarily.
Rex throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tyson throws a leg kick but Rex moved away.
Tyson lands a really nice looking cross but Rex seems unphased.

Tyson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rex.
Tyson throws a low kick but Rex moves out of range easily.
Rex moves out of range of the body kick.
Tyson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Tyson gets a clinch.
Rex is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tyson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Rex is trying to drag Tyson to the mat but Tyson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rex tries to score a body lock takedown but Tyson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tyson unloads a knee to the mid-section.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyson is pressed up against the cage. Rex has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tyson down to the mat. Tyson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tyson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nice takedown defense from Tyson. No joy for Rex on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meldrick Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Tyson motions for Rex to come forward. Tyson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tyson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rex.

Rex works over Tyson's head and body with a nice combination.
Tyson misses with a wild body shot.
Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rex moves away.
Tyson keeps Rex at a distance using the push kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Tyson.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rex checks a leg kick.
Rex has his takedown stuffed
and Tyson counters with a good low kick that Rex was not able to check.
Pwnasaurus Rex is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rex shoots for a takedown but Tyson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tyson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rex.
Rex throws a right and a left that Tyson avoids nicely.
Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rex paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tyson thumps Rex with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck for Rex with that takedown attempt.

Tyson throws a combination. Rex tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Rex shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense.

Rex shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rex was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rex looking to control but Tyson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Tyson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Rex content just to control the position here.
Tyson controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee warns Tyson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Meldrick Tyson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tyson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
