Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Guns and Roses - Reckless Life. Laak has chosen Pain - Shut your mouth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie Brock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Laak!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock misses with a body shot.
Laak tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Brock throws a poor cross that misses
and Laak counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Brock tries to land a leg kick but Laak saw it coming and moves away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Laak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Laak pushes Brock away with a front kick.
Brock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Laak.
Good leg kick by Laak there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Laak moves into range and clinches up with Brock.
Laak lands an elbow that stopped Brock in his tracks for a moment.
Laak connects with a nasty looking knee right to Brock's face.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Laak lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brock has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Laak lands a big right hand that drops Brock! The killer instinct kicks in and Laak finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Laak!
