Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Mondeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rydolf Karel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karel has chosen Hail Czech as his entrance music. Rydolf Karel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ronnie Mondeux's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Karel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mondeux is trying to stand back up but Karel is controlling him
Karel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mondeux keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karel is taking a breather. Mondeux says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mondeux is looking to escape.
Karel moves nicely into side control.
Karel is staying tight to Mondeux's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mondeux tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Karel is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Karel gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Karel gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Karel apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Mondeux's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Karel lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
