Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quinto Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mak Mokowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mokowski has chosen The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die as his entrance music. Mak Mokowski has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Quinto Connor's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor shoots in for a takedown but Mokowski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mokowski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mokowski misses with a wild combination.
Connor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mokowski avoids it really well and circles away.
Mokowski misses with a double jab.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Connor.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mokowski pushes Connor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Connor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Connor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mokowski is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Oooooh!!! Mokowski has knocked Connor down with a huge combo! Mokowski steps away and waves a wobbly Connor back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Connor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Connor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mokowski pushes Connor off and scrambles back to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Connor or perhaps it was just good defense by Mokowski which made him look bad.

Connor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mokowski's waist but Mokowski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Connor off to one side.

Mokowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Quinto Connor will probably get the nod.

Connor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mokowski tries to avoid it but Connor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mokowski to the ground. Mokowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mokowski throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Connor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Connor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I would just about give that final round to Mak Mokowski.
