Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Paroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paroni takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Paroni swings for the body but Man moves out of range.
Man lands a head shot.
Paroni uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Man fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Paroni looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Man has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Paroni.
Man circles away from the clinch attempt
and Man connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Man scores with a jab to the body.
Paroni misses with the body kick
so Man counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paroni manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Man is squirming around, avoiding Paroni's attempts to control the action.
Man avoids a series of strikes thrown by Paroni.
Man is desperately trying to improve his position but Paroni has a good base and remains in mount.
Paroni trying to control but Man is having none of it.
Paroni is working for a guillotine from mount but Man frees his head quite easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man stops Paroni from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Paroni throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Man because Paroni loaded up on that one.
Paroni looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Paroni takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Man wants to control but Paroni is having none of it.

Paroni jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Man is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Man and Paroni has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Paroni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Paroni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Paroni looking to control but instead Man has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man is trying to control but can't.

Man feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Paronis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Paroni is pressing down on Man's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Paroni is trying to keep Man in close.
Man trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Man is looking to stand up but Paroni won't let him.
Man throws an elbow that misses. Paroni uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Man's guard. Nice move by Paroni!
Paroni trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Paroni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Paroni controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Paroni trying to control but Man is working from the bottom.
Paroni throws an elbow that misses. Man uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Paroni's guard. Nice move by Man!
Man trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Paroni wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment.
Man passes Paroni's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Man tries to pass the half guard into mount. Paroni knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Paroni is pressing down on Man's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Paroni has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Man can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Paroni wants to sweep but no luck.
Paroni is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Man throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Paroni keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ip Man.
A telegraphed right hand from Paroni misses the target.
Bill Paroni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Man tries a low kick but Paroni avoids it.
Paroni tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.

That's time! Man's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Paroni, as that shot connected.
Man takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Paroni checks the leg kick nicely there.
Man thows a body shot but no joy.
Paroni connects with a body shot that sends Man's belly button to the back.
Man moves out of range of the leg kick from Paroni.
Man slips under a jab.
Man throws a leg kick
and Paroni counters with a big head kick but Man shrugs it off.
Paroni scores with a spinning back kick!
Bill Paroni seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Paroni moves out of range of the body kick from Man.

Paroni lands with a straight right. Man didn't see that one coming.
Man wants to slow Paroni down by chopping away at his legs.
Paroni changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Man takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Paroni throws a front kick aimed at Man's knee but Man avoids it well.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paroni moves away.
Man bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Paroni's head backwards.
Paroni has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Paroni lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Man misses with a body shot
and Paroni counters with a nice body kick.

Paroni tries to clinch but Man is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Man tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Paroni was well out of range. Poor timing from Man.

Paroni comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Ip Man has been cut.

Ip Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Man is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

A nice right hand lands inside from Man.

Paroni is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Man lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Paroni or not.

Bill Paroni comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Paroni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Bill Paroni tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
