The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Bourne counters with a stiff right hand.

Sailo tries to break free but Bourne pushes him back against the cage.

Sailo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bourne is now in Sailo's guard. A big mistake from Sailo there, giving up the dominant position!

Bourne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sailo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bourne.

Bruno Sailo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Sailo closes the distance and clinches up with Bourne, looking for a takedown. Sailo pushes Bourne against the cage but Bourne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bourne fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sailo to the ground. Bourne is now in Sailo's guard.

Let's hope that Bourne has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alex Bourne hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A relieved looking Alex Bourne thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
